New construction farmhouse in the Sunflower State!
Custom colors in this home reminds us of sunflowers! The rustic natural wood finishes combined with the exterior faint yellow created a perfect scene for this rural home. The homeowners added unique touches to finish out the home, which sits on a slab. They utilized a FEMA-rated storm shelter that we installed in their garage for those unpredictable Kansas storms.
Custom, rustic finishes
We enjoyed the finishing touches that make this home feel so intimate and quaint. Jason crafted the range hood out of reclaimed barn wood the homeowners found. They also repurposed an old, paint-chipped door as a pantry door to add some old-time character to the new finishes.
We enjoyed installing hand-picked finishes on things like the ceiling on the sprawling front porch, the colored concrete on the back patio, and the custom doors throughout that matched the design and flare.
Custom cabinets also included functional built-in options which are a really nice way to help you use your space efficiently. Large windows provide rays of endless sunshine and natural light. If you see any details or features that catch your eye, ask us about how we can implement that into your home!
